SSPDF and Agwelek Forces Capture New Fangak in Jonglei State ‎

‎ SSPDF Soldier  ‎Government troops from the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF), backed by the Agwelek militia, have taken control of New Fangak (Phom) in Fangak County, Jonglei State, following a coordinated military offensive against forces loyal to the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-in-Opposition (SPLA-IO) and the White Army. ‎ ‎Major General Paromi Angui, the SSPDF operations commander and deputy commander of Agwelek forces, confirmed the capture, stating that the operation began on May 12 and resulted in the seizure of both New Fangak town and the Alel area to its south. ‎ ‎According to Gen. Paromi, government forces suffered minimal losses, with one soldier killed and a few others wounded.  ‎ ‎He claimed that the opposition suffered heavier casualties and reported the capture of two SPLA-IO fighters. 36 South Sudanese nationals injured in Amuru road accident

South Sudanese nationals in Uganda are now undergoing treatment to an injury that occurred to them in Amuru last evening.

The injury resulted as a result of a tipper lorry vehicle, registration no: UAV 919H in which they were traveling in overturned along the Adjumani- Attial road precisely in atiak town. 

The Netizens were traveling from Nyumanzi Refugee settlement in Adjumani- district where they celebrated their new year eve.

Thirteen 13 of the injured were quickly rushed to St. Mary's Hospital in Lacor for Intensive care treatment while the 23 are admitted in Attiak clinic in Amuru. 

Speaking to URN Okot Kenneth on behave of the atiak town council said that the other thirteen survivors needed specialized medical attention that was why they were rushed to St. Mary's Hospital Lacor.

“We Are Back”: SSPDF Recaptures Ulang Amid Fractures in the White Army ‎

‎ ‎After weeks of tension and uncertainty, the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) have reentered Ulang town, regaining control from the White Army  a civilian militia that had recently seized power and chased out government authorities. ‎ ‎Maj. Gen.
