Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. South Sudanese nationals in Uganda are now undergoing treatment to an injury that occurred to them in Amuru last evening.

The injury resulted as a result of a tipper lorry vehicle, registration no: UAV 919H in which they were traveling in overturned along the Adjumani- Attial road precisely in atiak town. 

The Netizens were traveling from Nyumanzi Refugee settlement in Adjumani- district where they celebrated their new year eve.

Thirteen 13 of the injured were quickly rushed to St. Mary's Hospital in Lacor for Intensive care treatment while the 23 are admitted in Attiak clinic in Amuru. 

Speaking to URN Okot Kenneth on behave of the atiak town council said that the other thirteen survivors needed specialized medical attention that was why they were rushed to St. Mary's Hospital Lacor.
