"SSPDF' Soldier Allegedly Kills Younger Brother Over Financial Dispute in Warrap State

South Sudan People's Defense Forces 'SSPDF' soldier today was believed to have shot and killed his younger brother over financial disagreements in Gogrial East County-Warrap State.  According to eyewitnesses and family members. 1st Lieutenant Geng Tong Geng shot his brother twice over the misuse of 1 Million SSP. The deceased Arol Tong Geng was imprison in Kwacjok and was released earlier because the family requested for his release.  The dispute between the brothers was meant to be settled amicably but the 1st. Lieutenant Geng couldn't control his resentment and opted to end his younger brother's life.  Local State and County Authorities have not yet commented on the incident but concerned community members are calling seeking for justice.  Such family conflicts can escalate quickly in this region, where access to resources often exacerbates tensions within families and communities.  This tragedy underscores ongoing social challenges in Warrap State, where

South Sudan Army Has Dared Bari Community To Prove That There Are No NAS Rebels In Mangala Payam




South Sudan Army known as the SSPDF has dared the Bari community leadership to prove to the world that there are no NAS Rebels in Mangala County. 

South Sudan Army and Bari community leaders have been exchanging accusations and counter accusasion ever since the eve of Christmas last year. 

Army spokesman Maj. Gen. Lul Ruai during his press conference dared the Bari community to prove that there were no NAS rebels in Mangala because the Army knows NAS rebels aexist in Mangala County. 

It all began when the Army troops on a reconnaissance in Mangala met and clashed with NAS rebels and eventually killing five of the NAS rebels in Mangala. 

Stephen Pitia Lako the Bari community spokesman last year said that the Army should Withdraw it's troops from Mangala.

He further added that instead of the Army protecting it's civilians population, the army is busy killing the civilians of Mangala County.

Maj. Gen. Lul Ruai "we in the SSPDF General Headquarters are calling and demanding for a joint fact-finding mission and verification team to be sent to some of the islands where we found foxholes and defensive trenches as well as show them the mortar shells we recovered after we engaged with NAS rebels," Gen Ruai said.
