Since the independence of South Sudan the Central Equatoria state has been at unrest with it’s neighboring Jongelei state over land invasion wrangles by the indigenous communities of Dinka Bor and it’s cattle herders existence in their territories,
The question that’s brainstorming is did the Bor community leave their land of origin as internal displaced persons or are they encroaching to the Equatoria region as planned agenda ,In this perspective we believe that Jongelei state and it’s indigenous inhabitants have been there since it’s creation no people would leave their land of origin to another occupation ,
Based to the security unrest of the whole country back then throughout the liberation struggle there was high possibility of migration within various parts of it’s region,In this context we would refer to migration as movement from one place to another
with different types of migration
-Internal migration would be differentiated as the movement with a state or country
-External migration moving to a different
state or country
-Imigration leaving one place to another
-Immigration moving into a new place
-Return migration moving back to where you came from
People might move ranging to security economic ,social ,political ,demographic environmental ,physical reasons such as natural harzads
Comprehensively the Bor community should therefore be regarded as internally displace people with in the South Sudan boundaries because of internal and external insecurity(communal conflicts,Cattle raiding)and devastating climate changes of flooding that are threatening to the lives of the people and stock hence migrating
In this context do the affected communities of South Sudan be termed as refugees in their own country or shown empathy this has not been the case for the past decade since the independence of South Sudan,
Violence continues to wrangle across the country with raising and alarming tribalism that could trigger it more security unrest
The major question should be what ought to be done by the National transitional Legislative Assembly to address the issue through the various ministries ,Security agencies and chairpersons responsible for mediation on raising matters of conflict with the neighboring communities,
The sisterly communities should have a mutual agreement and resolutions passed by the act of law on how to abide and coexist amongst themselves this major step can only be achieved if they accept themselves and shun tribalism amongst themselves no one should be regarded in tribal concept in doing so that can help in the raising community conflicts that’s a result of destruction of resources both the cattle and crops are a huge economy to any country ,
Non governmental organizations should also play an important role in this aspect by mediating peace talks and educating both the famers and cattle herders on how to peacefully coexist
The security agencies and the government should play an important role in protecting and safe guarding civilians and their properties the right to freedom of movement within South Sudan should be prioritized any alarming security concern that’s a national security threat should regarded with contempt and addressed with emergency response ,
Over the last few years Central Equatoria has been hosting the NAS rebels could this be an alarm to the government and do the host communities enjoy the prevailing situation and privileges of their presence so they can coordinate and execute their agenda of NO DINKA in our land behind doors could this have led to the continued escalation of violence in killing of the cattle headers and their livestock, continued killings on the Juba Nimule road that has continued even later after the unification of the army and peace agreement,
It’s high time the government takes the issue of Equatoria region with its highest regard by calling for a peace dialogue conference and mediating the whole situation before another rebellion escalates in the region .

Dinka Bor refugees, IDPs, cattle herders armed militias terrorists must leave Equatorians land by all means necessary. They are the enemies of Equatorians. They had been welcomed with our open hands when displaced by the Nuer in 1991. Then they are turning against Equatorians . They must leave Equatorians land before Kirr is gone. Things will get worse. They kill Equatorians in their own land and displaced millions to Uganda. They are killers. Few days ago, they killed innocent civilians in around Juba
ReplyDeleteTo the Dinka of Northern Bahr el Ghazal, we as Equatorians, we don’t want Dinka in our land. Not only Dinka Bor terrorists, all of the Dinkas must leave Equatorians land. There is no more negotiations with the criminals or to Jieng council of elders or evils to talk to. Your Dinka president issued order for the Dinka Bor criminals, cattle herders to leave Equatorians land in 2015 & 2017. Do not talk about the rebels, you are the enemies of Equatorians. Fugitive Malong is a fake rebel, is a Dinka tribe a rebel too?
