Top Opposition General Joins Government Forces in South Sudan

‎A senior opposition army officer has left his group and joined the government army in South Sudan. Brigadier General Adnan Alex Boboya, who was part of the SPLA-IO (the main opposition army), said he has decided to support peace and work with the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF), which is the national army. ‎ ‎Speaking in Yei River County, Gen. Boboya said, “I am doing this for the good of my people and my country. It is time for peace. We, as soldiers, should protect our communities, not fight them.” ‎ ‎Government army leaders welcomed him and encouraged other opposition fighters to stop fighting and talk about peace. ‎ ‎This comes just days after over 600 SPLA-IO soldiers also joined the government side. ‎ ‎But some people are worried that these changes could cause more problems for the peace agreement signed in 2018 between President Salva Kiir and opposition leader Riek Machar.  ‎ ‎There are also reports that Riek Machar is being kept at home and not allowed to move...

Man Kills Wife and Five Children Then Shot Himself After Wife Filed For Divorce

In America one Mr. Michael Height killed his wife and five children and then shot himself after the wife was fed up with him and filed for divorce.

The Authorities suspected it might because of a mental breakdown that was why be committed the heinous crime.

The deceased include his wife, (3) three girls and two boys aged between (4) four and Seventeen (17). 

Friends and relatives of the deceased tried contacting them but they were not able to be reached so this prompt the police to go and investigate and they found the bodies. 

“Evidence suggests that the suspect took his own life after killing seven others in the home,” a statement from the city authorities.

“It appears, according to court documents, that (a divorce petition) was filed on the 21st of December and it was filed by the wife,”--Enoch Mayor Geoffrey Chesnut told AFP.

Enoch is a rural city of around 7,500 people in the southwest of Utah. It sits about a three-and-a-half hours’ drive from Salt Lake City.
