The President of the Republic, H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit officiated the signing ceremony of the contract agreement for the construction and upgrading of major high ways and roads linking the states of greater Bhar el Ghazal region, Upper Nile and Equatoria. The government of the Republic of South Sudan and Shandong High-Speed group of companies signed two agreements at the state house on Monday for the commencement of road construction projects that will kick-start within 14 days. The First Undersecretary in the ministry of Finance and Planning, Biel Jock and Li Chao, the General Manager of Shandong High-speed limited, signed multi party agreement between the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Petroleum and Shandong high speed for the funding of the project. Meanwhile, the undersecretary of the ministry of roads and bridges Phillips Waiwai and Li Chao signed the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract agreement for the construction and upgrading of Juba, Terkeka, Yirol

Hon. Michael Makuei Branded The Other Opposition Groups As 'Parasites'

On Friday South Sudan Minister of Information, Michael Makuei has cautioned the large number of opposition members living in some of the most expensive hotels. The expensive Hotels in the country to prepare for their own survival in May after the transitional agreement comes into force. Hon. Makuei who spoke to the press on after their cabinet symposium said, colloquially, that the government will not continue to accommodate those parasites in two months time. All in all he is urging those opposition groups to come to their homes rather being bankrolled by the government in the expensive hotels in the country. More to follow shortly....

South Sudan National Police Arrested 53 Drug Dealers In Gumbo Juba

South Sudan National Police in jubek state today arrests 53 South Sudanese youth of both sexes in Gumbo Juba. The Youth Arrested are believed to be commonly known as the niggas who has been terrorizing Gumbo. The Niggas were arrested yesterday during an operation at gumbo, the operations was intended to round up wrong elements in the community says one of the police officers who spoke to Juba Wire. The Juba Police department got a tip that people vending marijuana and other related drugs in some of the lodges in Gumbo which prompted police to carry out normal operation for security concerns. Fighting Erupts In Wau State

The State Minister Is assured the Wau Netizens/Citizens that the government is in control of the situation that happened in Kwarjina Wau. The State Minister who is identified as Madut Chan said the situation was volatile but the government has managed to curb it after Cattle Keepers and Farmers fought.  The fight happened at Kwarjina leading to scores being displaced from their homes and countless also injured. Mr.  Michael Madut is calling for humanitarian team in the country to support the people who are currently  displaced from their homes by giving them shelter and some basic humanitarian assistance. Lol State: Ere County Officials Complain About Lack Of Teachers In The County

Lol State in South Sudan for a very long time has lacked teachers to teach their children.  A case scenario is the one of Ere County which is also part of the greater Lol State,  the County officials finally decided to make their voices heard. Mr.  Abakar Dukumi the head of Ere County said that "We are facing a severe shortage of teachers. We lack facilities but the school is operational despite the challenges." The commissioner insisted that with no teachers in his County means a catastrophe for all of South Sudan . Apart from lack of teachers the County also lack trained Medical Personnel this leads to high level of mortality in the County.  He his calling out to the donors and the National government to come and help his County from the looming catastrophe . Meet: Deborah Awut The First Ever Female Administrator In Lakes State.

Meet 26 year old Deborah Awut who recently graduated from Christian University Of East Africa.  She is a graduate if Commerce and she is now one of the school administrator in Lakes States.  Deborah Awuts stands out to be one of the administrators In Lakes States and never before had a female been appointed as an administrator in Greater Lakes States.   She works as the principal in one of the prestigious Secondary School in Lakes States Just within Rumbek.  Here is what she had to say “I was quite scared when I got appointed, but as time went by I was so excited, and I told myself that this is the best place I should be.”  Deborah managed to beat the olds for easily being married off since she would have fetched lots of cows and money for her dowry but the firm support from the father proves fruitful.  “I really appreciate my parents a lot, especially my father. Meet Captain Aluel James Bol and Amel Ajongo - they are the first female South Sudanese pilots. Captain Aluel actually became the first female pilot for the whole of Sudan in 2011. Ajongo became the second female pilot in South Sudan when she graduated in August 2018. How many more will follow in their footsteps? And what will you tell your daughters, sisters and nieces when they speak of their seemingly impossible dreams? We should encourage our girls to pursue their dreams rather than force them into marriage. 

Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth Demands Taban Deng Gai Resignation

Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth who was the former Minister of Labour and Public Service and a member of SPLMA-IO loyal to Taban Deng Gai stated that he and the other members have lost trust in Tabs Deng Gai and he is urging Tabs Deng Gai to resign Immediately. “We have made what is called the vote of no confidence against Gen. Taban Deng Gai as the Chairman of SPLM-IO because he has already reunited with the SPLM mainstream.”  South Sudan First Vice President responded by issuing a strong warning to the members of his team against listening and supporting Gen.  Gatkuoth.   Gen.  Gathoth Gatkuoth is arguing that since Tabs Deng decided to join the Government that means he has lost legitimacy and must resign.  More to follow shortly.... 

South Sudan President Worried About The Recruitment Of New Soldiers By The Opposition Forces.

Opposition holdout groups currently recruiting new soldiers in South Sudan has been warned by President Salva Kiir Mayardit. South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit said that the move by the opposition forces is a violation of the revitalized peace agreement in the country.  President Kiir said those words during his tour of the Greater Bahr Al Ghazal region specifically in the town of Wau. He said that "the opposition groups are trying to recruit soldiers to increase the number of their forces and take control of new territories. These two things violate the agreement." He further added that “Don’t accept the recruitment exercise. The Main Reason Why South Sudan President Abandoned His Tour

A few days ago we saw Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth remove South Sudan First Vice President Taban Deng Gai from the team, this means Tabs Deng Gai and Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth team are at loggerhead. The situation in Juba now is very volatile forcing South Sudan President Salva Kiir to rush to Juba abandoning his tour to try and salvage the situation between Gen.  Gathoth Gatkuoth and Taban Deng Gai team.   Last weekend South Sudan Vice President Taban Deng Gai had ordered an immediate arrest of Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth along with his other turncoats in Juba. However, the manoeuvre to arrest Gen. Gatkuoth was challenged as unconstitutional, and for that reason, Gen. Gatkuoth vowed to fight back should anyone attempt to arrest him or any member of the new group. The standoff between Taban's bodyguards and Gatkuoth's military personnel eventually ensued, which ultimately, prompted Information Minister, Michael Makuei, to intervene unsuccessfully. Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth Soldiers Clash With Taban Deng Gai Forces Leaving One Captain Dead

This evening, a one of the soldier loyal to the newly unlawfull FVP Gen Gathoth Gatkuoth Hothnyang, named Capt. Pal Chuol Kueth, shot dead in Juba at Atlabara area after their vehicle was trying to across the Taban Deng Gai's surrounded residential area. According to the sources say, a heavy military operations underway drilled by Hoth forces to carry out a revenge attack to the Crown Hotel, Gen. Hoth says, if Cde Taban chooses a war more than to  leave the office in peace, we must force him to live in exile. We're hereby alerting our Victims those living in the shelters due to the apsurge in the country to avoid moving randomly from PoCs to Juba. Stop going to the town for a while! Stay tune! Angelina Teny and South Sudan First Lady To Hold Debate On Thursday Regarding Importance Of Women In South Sudan

Catholic University Of South Sudan on Thursday will host a high level panel to look into: 1. The role that our mothers or Women play in the current peaceful process in South Sudan. The high level panel debate is supposed to be a roadmap for the current peace process in South Sudan. The debate will also look into Sexual Gender Based Violence.  This will be dealt with in accordance to the cessation of hostilities. South Sudan Government Asked To Complete Boarder Issues Before May

Mr.  Rajab  Mohandis the Executive Director in charge of Governance and Organization body said that states number and boundaries should be expedited before the transitional government has been fully formed in May 2019. He further reiterated that all forces should be at their cantonment sites which means the government should identify the cantonment sites immediately.  Most importantly the boundaries should be demarcated so that it will help South Sudan as a sovereign State be able to identify structures and develop fast.  The cantonment sites is very important since it will help the soldiers from meeting each others and avoid provocation from the various forces.  The executive director was quoted when he was being interviewed on Anisa Radio. Mr.  Emmanuel Anthony Adil the Governor of Yei River State admits today that only God can bring everlasting peace to his state Yei River State. The governor was addressing the Netizen/Citizens of Yei River State when he uttered those words. Mr.  Emmanuel further reiterated that we are created for a reason and have a purpose in this world. He further urges the netizens/citizens of Yei River State and South Sudan in General to try and pray to God for peaceful coexistence and we the people should accept reconciliation as a way forward for peace to come. Yei River State has been ravaged beyond recognition due to the current on-going civil war in South Sudan. The one time known small London is no more only ruins can be seen as a memory of our own self-destruction mode which we activated as South Sudanese.  Yei River State is a ghost of a town and it will years for it to recover. South Sudan is currently  the leading country because of the highest number of children killed every year surpassing Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia.  UNHCR and UNICEF latest report indicates that South Sudan has resulted to over 1.1 million refugee population. The report further shows that the highest population in Uganda is made up of the children making a total of 60%. In course of the civil war ravaging South Sudan five (5) five times children are killed more than soldiers.  The truth is that our South Sudanese children have undergone through a lot of horrors inflicted by their own elders and the orchestrators of the ongoing conflict in South Sudan.
