‎Health, Relief, and National Security Shake Up Signals New Political Realignment ‎ ‎President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a wave of presidential decrees, reshuffling leadership in three of South Sudan’s most sensitive institutions: the Ministry of Health, the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), and the National Security Service (NSS). ‎ ‎The decrees, announced on State-run South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) on Wednesday evening, have already ignited heated political debate. Governor Adil Emmanuel To Demolish Illegal Structures And Retrieved All Playgrounds In Juba.


Seven member committee was formed by Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil on Tuesday.

The committee manifesto is to demolish Illegal structures and retrieve all Playgrounds and reserve lands. 

Mr. Derrick Derrickson, the Governor's Press secretary said that: “the committee is tasked to demolish illegal structures erected on road reserves, to retrieve all illegally acquired lands, and to demolish all illegal settlements in government structures such as schools and playgrounds,”-Derrickson.

The directives from the governor was initially initiated by the president Kiir. The committee was given two months to bring their findings.

The appointed members are: Fredericko Laku Raymond- Chairman of the committee, Mawa Moses-Deputy Chairperson, Thiik Mayardit- Members, Brigadier Samuel Jaafar Ladu-Member,  and John  Ponsiano.
