South Sudan’s Caretaker Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande Gedima, has held talks with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Delil Kedir Bushra, on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on diplomatic relations and cooperation, with the two officials also exchanging views on the current situation in South Sudan, Ethiopia and the wider region. Ambassador Delil Kedir said the discussions provided an opportunity to share perspectives on regional developments and matters of mutual interest. Governor Adil Emmanuel To Demolish Illegal Structures And Retrieved All Playgrounds In Juba.

Seven member committee was formed by Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil on Tuesday.

The committee manifesto is to demolish Illegal structures and retrieve all Playgrounds and reserve lands. 

Mr. Derrick Derrickson, the Governor's Press secretary said that: “the committee is tasked to demolish illegal structures erected on road reserves, to retrieve all illegally acquired lands, and to demolish all illegal settlements in government structures such as schools and playgrounds,”-Derrickson.

The directives from the governor was initially initiated by the president Kiir. The committee was given two months to bring their findings.

The appointed members are: Fredericko Laku Raymond- Chairman of the committee, Mawa Moses-Deputy Chairperson, Thiik Mayardit- Members, Brigadier Samuel Jaafar Ladu-Member,  and John  Ponsiano.

Thirty Five (35) People Confirmed Dead In Kapoeta Flood.

Governor of Kapoeta Stats Hon. Louis Lobong Lojore confirmed to the media that after a heavy rain in Kapoeta on Tuesday 35 people lost their lives.  The same rain hit various parts of South Sudan like Duk in Jonglei whereby people also died.   Hon. Lobong said that "We lost about 35 people during the heavy rains that hit several counties in the state on 10 June, so this is what happened here."  He added that the flood destroyed people homes and even destroy the bridges.  “We are trying to create awareness among our people to control water-borne diseases,” he said. The flood affected the market in Kapoeta since it cleared all the food store in Kapoeta State. He added.  Finally he is calling out to the humanitarian organization to come and rescue his people plus the government too since many people are dire need of help.  More to come shortly....
