President Salva Kiir relieves the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mayiik Ayii in a presidential decree read on SSBC.


Mayiik Ayii Deng is a South Sudanese politician and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, He was appointed into the office following Republican decree by the President removing Beatrice Khamisa Wani in September 2021.


Honorable Mayii Ayii was also a member of the National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan from 2011-2016. 




Mayiik Ayii served as the  Minister of Wildlife Conservation and Tourist in South Sudan from 2019 to 2020. 


Honorable Mayiik Ayii Deng also served as a Minister of Transport and Roads in South Sudan in the year 2020.  


Honorable Mayiik Ayii Deng also served as the Minister of Presidential Affairs in 2020 and was replaced by Hon. Nhial Deng.
