Big shots in Central Equatoria State government on Friday held open discussions at the city council headquarters on issues affecting the state capital and the dwellers including garbage collection, criminal gangs, and revenue collection in the state capital Juba.


According to the governor's press unit, Adil directed the authorities of Juba City Council to redouble their efforts on garbage management, city beautification, and cracking down on criminal gangs.


He reportedly called on the city council to address the growing public outcry over the disappearance of public spaces within the city and hold to count the individuals involved. 


The gathering drew together the State Cabinet Advisors, Ministers, lawmakers, and members of the city council.


Central Equatoria is a state in South Sudan. With an area of 43,033 square kilometres (16,615 sq mi), it is the smallest of the original South Sudanese states. Its previous name was Bahr al-Jabal also "Bahr-el-Jebel".
