President Kiir attended dialogue between China Communist Party and World Political Parties

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday participated in a virtual conference organized by the China Communist Party in dialogue with high-level World Political parties.

 

The dialogue held under the theme “Path towards Modernization; the Responsibility of Political Parties,” gather leaders of political parties and political organizations from around the World.

 

In his Keynote address, President Kiir appealed to the leaders of likeminded parties to focus on advocating for common values that binds humanity adding that there is need to adopt a people to people exchanges and cooperation, as the true meaning of the sovereign equality of states enshrined in the UN charter.


President Kiir noted that South Sudan has a strong bilateral relations with China based on mutual understanding and thus SPLM Party and the government of South Sudan are committed to enhance cooperation with China in different fields on a win-win basis.
