President Kiir has sacked two County Commissioner in Uppernile State, saying he was doing it in line with the 2018 Peace Agreement.
In a Presidential Decree aired to the public on Monday, President Kiir dismissed Hon. Deng Joh Angok Melut County Commissioner.
President Kiir also removed Hon. Joseph Abang Adiang the Commissioner of Fashoda County
President Kiir replaced Melut County Commissioner by appointing Hon. Barac Chol Aginy as the new County Commissioner of Melut County.
In another Presidential Decree, President Kiir also replaced Fashoda County Commissioner by appointing Hon. Royo Your Deng Kur as the new Fashoda County Commissioner.
President Kiir never gave any tangible reasons for the dismissal of the two county commissioners.
