President Kiir on Friday fired the commissioner of Rubkona County and revoked the appointment of Four SPLM-IO members of Parliament in the Transitional National Legislative Assembly 'TNLA.'
The decree was broadcasted on the state owned television known as South Sudan Broadcasting Co-operation 'SSBC.'
President Salva Kiir Mayardit sacked Hon. Dhol Koryom Lingling and immediately replaced him with Hon. James Clement July Dodor as the new commissioner of Rubkona County, both are members of the 'SPLM-IO'.
President Kiir further appointed Mr. Stephen Gatlier Kuac as a replacement of Gender , Child and Social Welfare Advisor in Unity State.
President Kiir also revoked the appointment of four SPLM-IO 'TNLA' Members of Parliament representing Unity State.
The sacked Unity State TNLA members of Parliament namely are: Regina Stephen Mading Machut, Anok Biar Wol Nhial, Rebecca Anei Diep and Elizabeth Stephen Kol.
The president immediately replaced them by appointing, Benjamin Awol Malual, Poth Madit Dut Makuei, Agad Chol Ombong Mayik and Achol Marial Deng as 'lawmakers' representing SPLM-IO in the Council of States.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit gave no reasons as to why had decided to sack Rubkona County Commissioner and the four SPLM-IO TNLA members of Parliament.
The Sudan People's Liberation Movement-in-Opposition is abbreviated 'SPLM-IO,' and commonly known as the anti-governmental forces (AGF).
SPLM-IO, is mainly South Sudanese political party and also a rebel group that split from the Sudan People's Liberation Movement in 2013, due to political tensions between President Salva Kiir and Vice President Riek Machar over leadership of the SPLM.
Tensions grew between forces loyal to President Kiir and Dr. Riek Machar and South Sudan plunged into the South Sudanese Civil War in the year 15/12/2013.
