SPLM Reaffirms Commitment to Peace, Unity, and Democratic Transition in Christmas Message ‎

‎Juba, December 24, 2025 ‎The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and a democratic future for South Sudan in a Christmas message issued by its Secretary General, Dr. Akol Paul Koordit. ‎ In the message dated 24 December 2025, released by the Office of the Secretary General at the SPLM National Secretariat, the ruling party extended warm Christmas greetings to South Sudanese citizens at home and in the diaspora, calling on the nation to reflect on shared values of peace, compassion, and national cohesion. ‎ “Christmas is a sacred season that calls upon us to reflect on the enduring values of peace, unity, compassion, and service,” the message reads. ‎ Peace, Elections, and National Cohesion ‎ Dr. Koordit emphasized that these values form the foundation upon which the SPLM was established and continues to guide its responsibility to serve the people and the country. ‎ The SPLM reiterated its dedication to: ‎ Peace and inclus...

South Sudan Parliament Summons Kuol Manyang and Nhial Deng Because Of Boarder With Kenya

South Sudan Parliament Summoned Kuol Manyang Minister Of Defense, Nhial Deng Minister Of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Kapoeta State Governor Luis Lobong over Kenya boarder issue. 
This came after some members of parliament claimed that the Kenya government launched 65-kilometer road rehabilitation project last month.
The three government officials were summoned over a project by Kenya to construct a tarmac road pass Nadapal up-to Kor Nakodok.  
The Kenya road project is about 70 kilometers and it goes 12 kilometers deep inside South Sudan territory. 
Apart from the broads Kenyan troops have encroached into South Sudan territory making it hard for the natives to take their cattles for grazing.  
Kapoeta State Member of parliament Hon. Epone Loolimo said that “The local communities of Kapoeta state have been denied access to grazing land and freedom of movement -despite an MoU signed between [our] national government with the government of Kenya in 2009.” 
This is a serious issue let's wait patiently for the outcome.

    This what was supposed to be done befor time by the above two ministers,but unfortunately they did act although they were aware of that . Instead they care much about juba twon things more than national issues.

‎ The Office of the President has dismissed public speculation surrounding Vice President Rebecca Nyandeng de Mabior’s recent assignment to oversee the Governance Cluster, clarifying that the move does not signal any change in the country’s executive hierarchy. ‎ ‎While addressing the media, Presidential Press Secretary Ambassador David Amuor said Nyandeng’s role is temporary and administrative, aimed at ensuring continuity of government operations following the suspension of First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar, who traditionally chairs the Governance Cluster. ‎ Amb.
