Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. His firearm, a G3 rifle, was stolen after the shooting. ‎ ‎Turkana County Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi confirmed the incident, saying the assailants struck before other officers at the examination center could respond. “We lost one of our officers this morning while he was on official duty securing KCSE exam materials. South Sudan Signed An Agreement On Boarder Demarcation With Kenya

South Sudan Minister Of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial today signed an agreement with the Kenyan Ambassador Monica Juma, Cabinet Secretary For Foreign.

The agreement is about Boundary Demarcation and Delimitation. 

In the past years South Sudan watched as Kenya pushed their boarder from Lokicchokio to Nadapal and rumors has it that Kenya is planning to extent it's boarders  up-to Loolim South Sudan. 

The full content of the agreement is yet to be disclosed but let's wait and see when both government will disclose it. 

Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial was accompanied by South Sudan Ambassador to Kenya, Amb. Chol M. U. Ajongo and First Secretary, Mr. Peter G. Jok, to the bilateral meeting where regional and multilateral issues were also discussed.

The agreement was signed in Nairobi Kenya Capital City.

A Sudanese Arabic newspaper is reporting that Riek Machar has hired Janjaweed as his bodyguards for his return to South Sudan. The Janjaweed have been renamed “Rapid Support Forces” and helped to suppressed the Sudanese protestors who toppled Bashir. Dr Riek who is currently in Khartoum will be accompanied by Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, the commander of Janjaweed who is currently part of Sudan’s ruling Sovereign Council. The newspaper Al-Intibaha quoting unnamed sources in the Government of South Sudan reported that Riek will return to South Sudan next month to meet with President Kiir. The paper did not specify the date of the meeting.
