Salva Kiir Women Hospital Receives Solar Donation From South Sudanese In Diaspora


Salva Kiir Women Hospital in Rumbek receives solar donation from South Sudanese in Diaspora mostly from Australia.  

The chairman of South Sudanese in Diaspora Australia section said that the solar is to be used mostly in the maternity ward and also to fight darkness in the maternity ward.  

The solar will be used to light the incubator in the maternity ward and all be used in theatre during operation.  

Dr. Ali Dhamir gives his thanks to the Rumbek community in diaspora for their act of kindness.  

Dr. Ali who is also the Medical Director in the facility said that the Solar's will help save many lives in Rumbek. 

Australia has a high number of South Sudanese. Here is a breakdown of their population: New South Wale 651, Western Australia 512 and Victoria 1200.
