Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Thirty Seven (37) Corrupt Traffic Police Officers Have Been Fired.

Corrupt traffic police officers have been dismissed from duty as Interior Minister confirms this report. 
Corruption issue on the roads have been very rampant as motorist are always swindled of their hard earn money by the traffic police officers.  
Hon. Michael Chiengjiek said that in the months of May and June traffic officers caught across the country accepting bribes or demanding bribes from the motorist have been dismissed from duty. 
In his own words the Minister of Interior Hon. Michael said that “This is a message to anyone who wants to commit such crimes. We think this is the correct measure and so we will continue as the police administration to arrest errant policemen so that we bring an end to such behaviors.” 
So how are this officers caught that is the big question.  The interior officer said that the minister have employed intelligence officers who do the surveillance across the country. 
This is a big move by ministry to curb corruption and dismissal is the only option. South Sudanese are demanding the other ministry to use the same tactics used by the Interior ministry.

Kakuma Refugee Miraa chewers initially are people from the Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya origins but recently South Sudanese Miraa chewers have overtaken both Somalia and Ethiopia to become the number one Miraa Chewers in the camp. According to one of our correspondent who has been in the camp for more than (15) fifteen years he said that “The number started increasing from the year 2010 and now in the year 2019 the number is too high.” By 2 PM that is exactly the time, Miraa (KHAT) is brought to the camp via Lodwar .
