Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Former Jonglei State Governor Welcomes His Sacking

Former Jonglei State Governor Philip Aguer Panyang termed his sacking a normal routine shuffle by the president and he has no issue with the sacking.  
The former governor said he had serve his people for a very long tone “I am happy with my relieve. It is something normal. I welcome the new governor and I wish him success in his leadership. And I am thankful to the people of Jonglei State for cooperating with me for three and a half years.”
The former governor said there were some forces behind his sacking and they finally managed to succeed in their mischief. 
In his own words “I was appointed in 2015 after community recommendation. But since I was appointed, a group of politicians in Juba was not happy. They have been lobbying for my sacking for the last three years. But I am thankful that the president did not listen to them throughout those years. So now I think my sacking is just a routine process because the president has powers to appoint and relieve.” 
He also did mentioned some of his major achievements as the ex governor of Jonglei state since 2015. “Relations were tense among communities in the region. But now, we have restored trust and unity among the Murle, Gawar Nuer, Lou Nuer and Dinka through dialogues. Now, trading is ongoing in Anyidi area. There is freedom among communities even in rebel-held areas.”
The former governor said that he managed to open roads too as some of his major achievements.
“At home, we opened roads and water channels. And we were constructing state secretariat since the current ones were built during the colonial rule. We also renovated the guest house at 15,000,000 SSP and we were waiting for the president to launch it”.
The big question is, what is the president planning for him now since he is jobless. Let's wait and see.

Four Dead and Five Others Missing After A Vehicle Overturned On Luri Bridge

A passenger vehicle overturned on Luri Bridge living four dead and five others missing, the vehicle was a passenger vehicle.   Read also:  Meet Nareh Napirah South Sudanese Musician Based In Abroad His Plans For Junub Sudan The vehicle overturned while trying to cross the already overflowing river at around 8pm confirmed Luri County Commissioner.   “Four bodies were recovered, but five people are still missing, 12 passengers survived.”  Luri County Commissioner also said that “At the moment, the vehicle is still floating in the river where we are waiting for a crane from Juba to pull it out.” Luri river has been known for killing many civilians just some months ago two people died in the river.   The big question is what happened to the six million pounds that was meant for the rehabilitation of the bridge? SPLA-IO and Government Clash in Yei River State Resulting to Death of 11 People

Yei River State today has come under heavy sound of gunfire from both the government and the SPLA-IO forces that are loyal to former South Sudan First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar resulting to 11 people losing their lives and scores injured. The information reached jubawire.blogspot.com through Hon. Huda Micah the Information Minister of the Yei River State. She says the government forces have face a series of attack from the SPLA-IO resulting into the attack. Hon. Huda Micah further added that the government has formed a committee to investigate the matter. But when further asked to identity the people killed whether they are civilians or soldiers but she refuse to disclose the information.
