‎Health, Relief, and National Security Shake Up Signals New Political Realignment ‎ ‎President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a wave of presidential decrees, reshuffling leadership in three of South Sudan’s most sensitive institutions: the Ministry of Health, the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), and the National Security Service (NSS). ‎ ‎The decrees, announced on State-run South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) on Wednesday evening, have already ignited heated political debate. The Reasons Behind South Sudan Opposition Alliance Turmoil (SSOA)

South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) struggle is associated with the vacant Vice President post that was announced by the president according to Gabriel Changson one of the prominent figures in the (SSOA).

In an interview with Voice Of America  he said that the group members are accusing him of betrayal since he met with South Sudan first Vice President Taban Deng Gai in Washington United States Of America.

Changson and Peter Gatdet is fighting for the leadership position and he has rejected Peter Gatdet leadship claim of SSOA. He defended his point by saying that since Gatdet is under UN sanction so that will not make him to lead the SSOA.

According to the signed  peace agreement on September 2018. The presidency shall comprise of the first vice president and four vice-president which means SSOA has to present someone who will be ready to take the vacant vice-president post

Russia to Open Embassy in Juba: A New Chapter in South Sudan–Russia Relations
