VP. Dr. Bol Mel  ‎ In a significant political development, Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel, Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan and Chairperson of the Economic Cluster, has officially been sworn in as the First Deputy Chairperson of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM). ‎ ‎Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony in Juba, Dr. Bol Mel described his new role not as a personal honor, but a solemn "call to duty." Wele hitmaker Silver X has returned back to JUba after long stay with his wife in Australia. 


The artiste together with his wife have surprisingly landed today at Juba International Airport without the public’s notice. For whatever reason, he’s back to Juba and we wish him with his wife a safe stay.


Silver X has won many East African awards in Nairobi, Kenya as well as South Sudanese awards in Juba.


Okuta Ceaser Malish Jeremiah was born on  December 2, 1988 in Torit, South Sudan, known by his stage name Silver X, is a South Sudanese singer.


Before finding residence in Juba in 2007, he released his first album named Binia Lotuko before he founded a musical group named New Sudan Superstars in 2008. 


In 2010 he launched his fourth debut studio album titled "Fattisu Shokul", which is translated, "searching for a job". The album is the most played song by Silver X because the song is concerned with the youths who are searching for jobs yet no one is willing to employ them though they are qualified and graduated.

‎ ‎President Salva Kiir Mayardiit on Thursday officially welcomed the new top deputies of the SPLM during a swearing in ceremony at the party’s headquarters in Juba. ‎ ‎Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel stepped into the role of First Deputy Chairman, Mary Apai became the Second Deputy Chairperson, and Simon Kun was named Third Deputy Chairman. ‎ ‎In his speech, President Kiir said the SPLM is a movement for all South Sudanese not for one tribe or region.
