President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Monday met with the Speaker of Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Jemma Nunu Kumba to discuss activities being undertaken by the parliament and her recent visit to India. 


In her remarks, Jemma Nunu briefed the President about the outcome of the Great Lakes Plenary Assembly Conference which brought speakers from twelve countries across the continent.


Great Lakes is an intergovernmental organization with twelve member states, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, DR Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Sudan, Angola, Zambia, Burundi, South Sudan and Central African Republic.


Seems like Hon. Jemma Nunu Kumba is trying to solidify her position as the TNLA Speaker, recently the TNLA MPs are calling for the dismissal of Hon. Jemma Nunu Kumba. 


The TNLA MPs, Are accusing the speaker of stealing money from the Parliament dockets worth 12 million SSP.
