Security stops Kuel Aguer Kuel from travelling, confiscates passport at Juba International Airport

Former Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Governor, Kuel Aguer Kuel, has been denied a visa and flight to India for further medical treatment, according to a family source.


Kuel's daughter posted on Facebook that while at Juba International Airport, the security stopped Kuel from traveling and confiscated his passport.


"This morning as they were leaving for treatment, they were stopped from leaving the country and went as far as taken they’re passports from them as I speak my both parents are hopeless sick in the house," Kuel's daughter posted on Facebook.


The family Kuel Aguer Kuel has reported that his health condition has significantly deteriorated, and he needs urgent medical attention abroad and appeal to the government to allow passage to Kuel to seek treatment abroad.


Last year, Special High Court in Juba dismissed all the treason charges brought against Kuel Aguer Kuel and acquitted him.

    Serious problem with Right Person Mr kuel aguer was suppose to be allowed to check his health out side the country if his passport as been confiscated meaning there is a logic behind ,if concern citizens been allowed to speake then I can just say free Right man to seek his health .
