Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Former Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Governor, Kuel Aguer Kuel, has been denied a visa and flight to India for further medical treatment, according to a family source.


Kuel's daughter posted on Facebook that while at Juba International Airport, the security stopped Kuel from traveling and confiscated his passport.


"This morning as they were leaving for treatment, they were stopped from leaving the country and went as far as taken they’re passports from them as I speak my both parents are hopeless sick in the house," Kuel's daughter posted on Facebook.


The family Kuel Aguer Kuel has reported that his health condition has significantly deteriorated, and he needs urgent medical attention abroad and appeal to the government to allow passage to Kuel to seek treatment abroad.


Last year, Special High Court in Juba dismissed all the treason charges brought against Kuel Aguer Kuel and acquitted him.

    Serious problem with Right Person Mr kuel aguer was suppose to be allowed to check his health out side the country if his passport as been confiscated meaning there is a logic behind ,if concern citizens been allowed to speake then I can just say free Right man to seek his health .
