HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT SALVA KIIR EASTER MESSAGE

Attached Easter Holidays Message from President Kiir.

Top Trending News Today:

My fellow South Sudanese,

My family and I join you and all Christian faithful within the country and across the world in the solemn celebration of the Easter Season.

In the last forty days, Christians have walked in lock-step with Christ during the lent season characterized by suffering, a journey that will end in Christ triumph over evil and death.

As we recall Christ’s passion for humanity which made him accept his painful death on the cross, we are reminded that our salvation is rooted in love, which we are called upon to emulate.

May his resurrection affirm his promise of life everlasting for humanity and grant us hope and peace.

During this holiday week may our hearts be filled with charity towards underprivileged in our midst and also work to be peacemakers among ourselves.

Let us also pray for peace within our country and across the world. May we all share in the collective hope for a better future for our country and Christ love for one another during this Easter.

Once again, my family and I wish you a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration.

May God bless you all. Happy Easter Holiday.
