PRESIDENT SALVA KIIR MAYARDIIT RETURNS BACK TO JUBA AFTER ADDRESSING A RALLY IN WAU

President Kiir has returned to Juba after addressing an SPLM rally in Western Bahr El Ghazal State capital, Wau.


He was received by Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol and other senior government officials.

 

The President was also received by SPLM leaders, supporters from Central Equatoria State.


During his visit in Wau, the capital of Western Bahr Ghazal State, he was received by tens of thousands of people. 


Ten of Thousands of people converged Way Stadium to celebrate the sole nomination of President Kiir as SPLM Presidential flag bearer in the 2024 general elections.


SPLM members and enthusiasts came from the four States of Bahr El Ghazal and Abyei Administrative Area.


President Kiir while in Wau gave a speech saying that, "I am deeply touched by your endorsement and your continued support to our historic party gives me confidence that we will stand together as we go towards elections next year" said Kiir.
