Cordial relationship between Twic and Ngok Dinka Ngok returns to normalcy, Abyei Chief Administrator informs president Kiir

Chief Administrator Dr. chol Deng Alaak has told President Kiir that cordial relations between Twic and Ngok Dinka have started picking up, as the two communities are now living in peace.


The Abyei Chief asserted that the implementation of the agreement between Twic and Ngok Dinka was going on well.


Dr. Chol sounded an alarm on the huge influx of returnees from Sudan, calling for their relocation to their areas of origin.


He added that the security situation in the area is relatively stable and people are engaged in farming.


The communal confrontation between the brotherly communities which is Dinka Ngok and Twic Mayardit was over the land of Aneet and it has increased polarisation supported by the unseen hands of political instigators.
