South Sudan’s Caretaker Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande Gedima, has held talks with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Delil Kedir Bushra, on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on diplomatic relations and cooperation, with the two officials also exchanging views on the current situation in South Sudan, Ethiopia and the wider region. Ambassador Delil Kedir said the discussions provided an opportunity to share perspectives on regional developments and matters of mutual interest. EDUCATION CANNOT WAIT ORGANIZATION LAUDS PRESIDENT KIIR FOR SUPPORTING GIRLS EDUCATION

None Governmental Organization, Education Cannot Wait has commended President Kiir for his strong support for girls education in the country. 


The Organization's Executive Director Yasmine Sheriff briefed the President on the activities her organization is funding in South Sudan. 


"I am glad that President Kiir is a wise, profound leader that made a huge impact and has such a strong support for girls education, to make sure that the female population are re-able to achieve education",  Yasmine asserted. 


The Minister of General Education and Instructions Awut Deng Acuil thanked the organization for funding critical education programs in the country. 


Awut appreciated the President's declaration of free and compulsory education in the country. 


It's worth nothing that the Organization had launched a three-year Multi year Resilience program  at the tune of 72 million USD in Yirol town of Lakes State.
