President Kiir, Museveni Strengthen Bilateral Ties, Pledge Regional Stability

President Kiir, President Museveni and VP. Agwelek faction forces led by Gen. Johnson Olony and the government have formed a committee to speed up the integration of agwelek fighters into the army. 


Gen. Johnson Olony, while addressing the shilluk community during the implementation of the Kit-Kuang declaration in juba on Tuesday yesterday said that, Shilluk intellectuals and the community to be patient with the delay in the implementation of the agreement.

On 17th January 2023, Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual SPLM-IO's  faction and Kit-Kuang faction signed the peace agreement in Khartoum, Sudan. 


However, Gen. Johnson Olony and Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual had a disagreement over the implementation of the peace agreement process.

While addressing the Shilluk community, Gen. Olony said that, the implementation of the agreement with the government will be concluded before December 2023.
