Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and confidence you have shown me by appointing me as the First Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance and Planning. 


This appointment is an immense honor, and I am fully committed to delivering on the mandate bestowed upon me.


As our nation continues to rebuild and grow, I am acutely aware of the sacrifices and struggles undertaken by you and your colleagues over the past three decades. 


Your relentless dedication to our country's welfare is truly inspiring, and it is my utmost desire to contribute to the realization of our shared vision.

By enacting sound economic strategies, we will optimize the utilization of our limited resources and create a robust financial framework that serves our struggling populations.

‎ ‎President Salva Kiir Mayardit has appointed Lt. Gen.
