‎Juba, December 24, 2025 ‎The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and a democratic future for South Sudan in a Christmas message issued by its Secretary General, Dr. Akol Paul Koordit. ‎ In the message dated 24 December 2025, released by the Office of the Secretary General at the SPLM National Secretariat, the ruling party extended warm Christmas greetings to South Sudanese citizens at home and in the diaspora, calling on the nation to reflect on shared values of peace, compassion, and national cohesion. ‎ “Christmas is a sacred season that calls upon us to reflect on the enduring values of peace, unity, compassion, and service,” the message reads. ‎ Peace, Elections, and National Cohesion ‎ Dr. Koordit emphasized that these values form the foundation upon which the SPLM was established and continues to guide its responsibility to serve the people and the country. ‎ The SPLM reiterated its dedication to: ‎ Peace and inclus...

Your Excellency Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan,


I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and confidence you have shown me by appointing me as the First Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance and Planning. 


This appointment is an immense honor, and I am fully committed to delivering on the mandate bestowed upon me.


As our nation continues to rebuild and grow, I am acutely aware of the sacrifices and struggles undertaken by you and your colleagues over the past three decades. 


Your relentless dedication to our country's welfare is truly inspiring, and it is my utmost desire to contribute to the realization of our shared vision.

I am thankful to Hon. Bak Barnaba Chol, the Minister of Finance and Planning, for placing his faith in my abilities. 


I am determined to work closely with him, bringing my expertise in fiscal policies, strategic planning, financial controlship, and effective policy formulation to deliver the much-needed reforms within our economy. 


By enacting sound economic strategies, we will optimize the utilization of our limited resources and create a robust financial framework that serves our struggling populations.

South Sudanese man who turned into a woman has finally spoken about his need for man to settle with. The South-South Sudanese man who goes by the name Paul Gatnoor, has found men hard to come by in the western world. Paul Gatnoor who hails from the Nuer tribe in South Sudan has decided to turn into a female since she can’t withstand the pressure of being a man. He was born a man but deep inside him, he was having the genes of a woman. Transgender is the challenge that the gender in which one is given has birth is not the exact gender that one has.
