Gathoth Gatkuoth Stages a Coup against Taban Deng Gai


Mr. Gathoth Gatkuoth and Otim Okot today held a press conference declaring that they have deposed Taban Deng Gai as the chair of his faction of splm-IO. That means Taban Deng Gai is no longer the chairman and the leader of the SPLM-IO splinter group that split from the original SPLM-IO of Dr. Riek Machar. 





In a statement released by the two and seen by Juba Wire the two said they have written to the president to express that they have lost confidence in Taban and that he should be replaced as First Vice President with immediate effect.
