Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. SSPDF planning a Major Offensive In Bentiu Against the -IO

This statement was released by Col. Philip Jima. He said that the so-called #SSPDF division 4 in Rubkona county Pakur area, sent a SSPDF troops to the #SPLA_IO Cantonment site in Pakur under the Cammanship of #Cde_Lok_Tang_Reat proclaimed that the entire territory belong to the SSPDF.

According to the SPLA-IO Cantonment site area operation Commander, Cde Lok Tang Reat says, the unagreed sharing of the military cantonment area making by the SSPDF, is totally and incompetent and  seem to be the violations of cessation of the hostilities and will wage the heavy breathing at the Khartoum Peace Agreement (#KPA) if without a watchful eye from the Peace mediators.

We are hereby appealing to the International Communities although the regional blocs so-called AU and IGAD to be watchful and come up with an immediate investigation against the Juba regime for resuming the anti-peace campaign that will keep on derailing the signed peace consensus in Khartoum, and should withdraw back in 48 hrs, it's an emphatically mandatory as a SPLA-IO Cantonment site.

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has dismissed General Dau Aturjong Nyuol from his position as the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) of the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) and re-appointed General Paul Nang Majok to the powerful military post. The decree, announced on state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) on Tuesday night, did not specify the reason for the abrupt change in command.  However, sources within the military say the move could be part of broader efforts by the President to reassert control over the army amid growing internal and regional tensions. ‎JUBA – South Sudan  ‎ ‎President Salva Kiir Mayardit has reportedly directed the immediate withdrawal of Ugandan People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) troops from South Sudan, but Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has insisted his soldiers will not leave until outstanding payments owed by the government of South Sudan are settled in full. ‎ ‎According to reliable sources within the security establishment, the Ugandan forces estimated at over 5,000 soldiers were initially deployed in South Sudan under a private arrangement facilitated by businessman and Vice President Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel, reportedly to support government operations in key conflict zones. ‎However, the partnership has now hit a financial deadlock as huge arrears continue to accumulate.
