Opinion: Hon Josephine Napwon-National Minister Of Environment And Forestry: Nadapal Boarder Scuffle With Kenya Government

Top Trending News:

It has come to my attention that the Kenya Defense Force have illegally entered Kapoeta East County that prompted the youth to protest peacefully on the streets against the continuous encroachment into South Sudan Territory.

This is not the first time the Kenyan security has been creating tensions to our people at the border, we all know there has been boarder issues between the two sisterly Countries but the provocations that is coming from Kenyan side isn’t something that the government should take lightly.

The statements that came from the Kenyan Minister of Interior and the Turkana Governor is very regrettable, they are trying to incite violence between the two communities. They have already mad their intentions clear!

I applaud the youth of Kapoeta East County for the peaceful protest for not taking the law into their hands. I call upon the State government and the national government to amicably resolve the boarder issue as soon as possible before it escalates into something that will hurt the friendship the two countries have been enjoying.
