Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising.   President Kiir in Wau.  Tens of thousands of people converged in Wau Stadium to celebrate the sole nomination of President Kiir as SPLM Presidential flag bearer in the 2024 general elections. SPLM members and enthusiasts came from the four States of Bahr El Ghazal and Abyei Administrative Area. In a declaration read by Warrap State Governor Manhiem Bol Malek, people from the votes rich region renewed and pledged their unwavering support to the President.  In his keynote address, President Kiir said, "I am deeply touched by your endorsement and your continued support to our historic party gives me confidence that we will stand together as we go towards elections next year", Kiir said.   Deng Makhon, the student who was shot today during the violent incident near Nakasongola Church, has tragically passed away.  Today, a violent shooting unfolded near the national parliament at Nakasongola Church, leaving one student on the brink of death. Deng Makhon, a young man who juggles his studies with being a mobile money exchange vendor, sustained a critical gunshot wound to the chest. Deng's close friend, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed the harrowing details of the incident.  "Amidst protests against the demolition of a nearby church by security agents, chaos erupted, leading to a series of gunshots that got people running for their lifes. Unfortunately, Deng victim the shooting. Amid protests over a demolished church, chaos erupted, resulting in gunshots that left Deng critically injured. Despite efforts at Giada Military hospital, his injuries proved fatal.  Deng was a former head prefect at Elite High School in Juba.

Transitional National Assembly  Cabinet Ministers and Members of the Transitional National Assembly are at logger heads after various Cabinet Minister fail to turn up for questioning whenever they were summoned for questioning at the National Parliament.   On Wednesday this week over 12 Cabinet Ministers refused to turn up for questioning before the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, the Cabinet Ministers were needed to answer crucial questions to matters regarding their dockets.   Here are the names of the Cabinet Ministers who refused to appear before the Legislatures or commonly known ‘lawmakers’. Dier Tong Ngor And WFP Country Director Mary Ellen McGroarty The government of South Sudan contributed a total of $15 Million Dollars ‘fifteen million dollars’ to the World Food Program ‘WFP’. The money was to be used to tackle and respond to emergency situations that might or is currently occurring in South Sudan.   The director of World Food Program, Mrs. Mary Ellen McGroarty made the announcement shortly after a signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of South Sudan in Juba on Wednesday.   Hon.
