President Kiir received an invitation to participate in the upcoming Saudi Arabia - African Summit

President Kiir has received an invitation from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman to participate in the Saudi-African Summit due in November this year.


The message of goodwill was handed to President Kiir by the Prince Advisor Ahmed Kattan in Juba on Wednesday.


Kattan also urged South Sudan to support the Kingdom's bid to host the 2030 Expo. 


He said his country is working to open an Embassy in Juba to further strengthen relations between the two countries.


Acting Foreign Minister Deng Dau Deng assured the Saudi Envoy of South Sudan's readiness to attend the Summit and support its bid to host EXPO 2030.
