Unity State Embraces Peace: VP Taban’s Tour Highlights Stability and Growth ‎

 Tonj State Director of Physical Infrastructure tells the people of Tonj and all Junubin that the airstrip is on a verge of being extended.
 
The construction requires a big space and also the houses that are going to be demolished its owners have to compensated, after that period then we start said Mr. Angelo Akuei.

He further discloses that they have registered 672 people before evacuating them to another area.Those who processed their documents already should not be charged again and compensation should be done to those with buildings, he explains.

 
One of the residents who are close to the airstrip Mr. Victor Mawien Akoon, appreciates the plan of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure because it is dangerous for those near the airstrip.
 
The leaders of Tonj state are now waiting for the dry season to commence so as they can kick start the project of extending the airstrip.
