Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. President Kiir Held Talks With Delegates From United Kingdom (UK)


President Salva Kiir Mayardit held talks this morning with a delegation from the United Kingdom.

The delegation was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrew Stephenson on the peace process in South Sudan.

President Kiir discussed a wide range of issues seeking to bolster bilateral relations between South Sudan and the United Kingdom.

National Salvation Front (NAS) Said South Sudan Government Is Planning To Launch A Major Offensive Against NAS Forces

Mr. Andrew reiterated the United Kingdoms commitment towards supporting the government and the people of South Sudan in achieving lasting peace and development for the country.
