Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Four Dead and Five Others Missing After A Vehicle Overturned On Luri Bridge


A passenger vehicle overturned on Luri Bridge living four dead and five others missing, the vehicle was a passenger vehicle.  
The vehicle overturned while trying to cross the already overflowing river at around 8pm confirmed Luri County Commissioner.  
“Four bodies were recovered, but five people are still missing, 12 passengers survived.” 
Luri County Commissioner also said that “At the moment, the vehicle is still floating in the river where we are waiting for a crane from Juba to pull it out.”
Luri river has been known for killing many civilians just some months ago two people died in the river.  
The big question is what happened to the six million pounds that was meant for the rehabilitation of the bridge?
