Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. Four Dead and Five Others Missing After A Vehicle Overturned On Luri Bridge


A passenger vehicle overturned on Luri Bridge living four dead and five others missing, the vehicle was a passenger vehicle.  
The vehicle overturned while trying to cross the already overflowing river at around 8pm confirmed Luri County Commissioner.  
“Four bodies were recovered, but five people are still missing, 12 passengers survived.” 
Luri County Commissioner also said that “At the moment, the vehicle is still floating in the river where we are waiting for a crane from Juba to pull it out.”
Luri river has been known for killing many civilians just some months ago two people died in the river.  
The big question is what happened to the six million pounds that was meant for the rehabilitation of the bridge?
