South Sudan Denies Expelling U.S. Ambassador, Dispels Embassy Closure Rumors

  Foreign Ministry spokesperson Amb. Apuk Ayuel Mayen South Sudan’s Foreign Ministry has firmly denied social media rumors claiming the expulsion of U.S. Ambassador Michael J. Adler and the closure of its embassy in Washington, D.C. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Amb. Apuk Ayuel Mayen labeled the reports as “entirely without merit,” confirming that Ambassador Adler remains fully accredited and in active diplomatic engagement with Juba.  The new Foreign Minister, Monday Semaya K. Kumba, reportedly met with Adler on Saturday to reaffirm bilateral ties. “Our embassy in Washington is open and operational,” Mayen stated, adding that the government values its relationship with the United States and is committed to strengthening cooperation. Father of One Of The Armed Robbers Who Murdered The Ugandan Teachers Arrested In Western Lakes State


The father of one of the gunmen who killed the Ugandan teachers have been arrested in Rumbek as the authorities tighten the search for the gunmen. 
The Authorities said the arrest was done in order for the culprit to come out and replace the father since the old man was not responsible for the killing of the two Ugandan teachers.  
The Ugandan two deceased Ugandan teachers were teaching in Hope and Resurrection Secondary School and were attacked between Western and Eastern Bhar Naam County exactly in Pulkuji. 
The deceased who goes by the name Charles Kule Charles and Willis Binsiima were both deputy head teacher and the school administrator in the secondary school.  
The teachers were killed on grounds that Ugandan truck drivers killed the chief of that Pulkuji, so it was a revenged killing.  
The County Commissioner said confirmed that “Yes, he was detained yesterday and he told us he is talking with his son through someone else phone . So he is talking to the boy to surrender himself to the authorities.” 
The suspect’s father promised to hand-over his son to the state authorities.
The commissioner also added that “First the police will apprehend them, then we will go to their cattle camp- I know the cattle camp is near here – and confiscate the animals. Then we will transfer the suspects father to the town prison, until we get the culprits.”
The commissioner hopes that the young man will turn himself in to bail his father through the young man the authority will be able to capture the other culprits.
