South Sudan’s Caretaker Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande Gedima, has held talks with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Delil Kedir Bushra, on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on diplomatic relations and cooperation, with the two officials also exchanging views on the current situation in South Sudan, Ethiopia and the wider region. Ambassador Delil Kedir said the discussions provided an opportunity to share perspectives on regional developments and matters of mutual interest. Kenyan President Uhuru Advised Kiir To Provide Services To South Sudanese

President Uhuru Kenyatta asked South Sudan President Salva Kiir to help the country by providing services to the people rather waste alot of money to pay for hotels and favors.  
The Kenyan President was speaking at Kenya's National Prayer Breakfast Conference which was attended by South Sudan President Salva Kiir.  
South Sudan President Salva Kiir said that various leaders in South Sudan are all power hungry and that has led to resources being diverted to solve the wrangled.  In his own words “I want you also to pass the same message to your neighbors. South Sudan is one of them, you know that we are fighting in South Sudan up to now amongst ourselves…The result is innocent lives have been lost. I want to back you in that initiate that the president took to bring you two together should also go far to reach us in South Sudan.”
President Salva Kiir also asked for support from the East African community in order to overcome the crisis South Sudan is facing.  
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta completed by saying that “Leadership is not about who is the President but it’s about services to your people and the people of South Sudan desperately need peace in order for them to get services that they fought for many years and Kenya stands ready my brother to work with you and all your colleagues to help the people of South Sudan achieve that long waited for objectives of a strong, united and prosperous South Sudan, and ultimately as you have said we join with Kenya and all other East African countries and become one great nation in the service of God and God’s people.”

South Sudan Primary Leaving Examination Top Performer

The top candidate in the 2018 primary leaving examinations has attributed her excellent performance to family and teachers. Meet Lou Buol Mayen who emerged as the top PLE pupil in the recent PLE exams scoring a total of 490 out of 500 marks. The girl who was learning at Marty’s Academy in Jonglei State did the impossible only missing 10 to score a hundred percent. Lou Buol Mayen is 16 years of age. When contacted by the eye radio she said that “It’s not a surprise because I worked hard in my exams, I read a lot and I knew that I would appear on top when results are released.” According to her statement she knew her ability. This can be scaled down to the efforts she placed to her studied and being friends to the book. This is a very encouraging results meaning that the girls have to emulate her as a role model and thrive to perform better. Governor Rabi Mujung Dismisses Juba City Mayor, Appoints New Leadership Team ‎

‎Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony Mujung has made sweeping changes in the Juba City Council leadership, dismissing Mayor Johnson Swaka and his two deputies, Thiik Thiik and Juma Moses Michael. ‎ ‎In a gubernatorial decree issued on Friday, Christopher Sarafino Wani Swaka was appointed as the new Mayor of Juba City, taking over from the outgoing Swaka. ‎ ‎The new leadership team includes Jenifer Yabu Lasuba as Deputy Mayor for Administration and Finance, Lual Joseph Deng as Deputy Mayor for Social Services, and Stephen Lomude Martin as Deputy Mayor for Environment and Waste Management. ‎ ‎Governor Mujung said the changes are aimed at enhancing service delivery, strengthening city management, and improving coordination between the state government and the city council. ‎ ‎The reshuffle marks one of the most significant administrative shake-ups in Juba’s recent history, as the new team is expected to tackle persistent challenges such as waste management, urban planni...
