Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Fire Outbreak Killed Over 50 People In Lol State


A fire outbreak in Lol State claimed the lives of over 50 people in Korok Lol State and several others injured. 
The cause of the fire outbreak was because of a windstorm when the resident were sleeping innocently at night.  
According to one of the witness Mr.  Garang Mawien he said that “After everyone was in bed, the fire started burning down the huts. They woke up to realize that their houses were on fire.” 
Majority of the victims were reportedly children and the elderly who succumbed to first degree burns as they were being rushed to hospital in Aweil.
The elderly and small children were the victims of the fire outbreak.
He added that unknown number of livestock were also lost and the crops were destroyed in the farms.
