Security Breach at Paloch Airstrip: Two National Security Officers Arrested ‎

Assistant Chief of Defence Forces For Operation and Training.  ‎Tension flared in Upper Nile State on Tuesday after two national security personnel were arrested for attempting to forcibly enter Paloch Airstrip.  ‎ ‎According to the State Governor, the incident triggered a brief exchange of fire, though calm was quickly restored. ‎ ‎This alarming development comes at a time when Paloch and surrounding areas are already grappling with a deteriorating security situation.  ‎ ‎Over the weekend, at least seven people were killed and four others injured during a deadly attack at Paloch market in Melut County. The attackers fled the scene and remain at large. ‎ ‎Authorities have not yet released details about the motive behind the airstrip breach, but investigations are ongoing. Juba - Nimule: Two People Killed and Two Others Injured In A Road Ambush.


Two people were killed, and two others injured in a road ambush along the Juba-Nimule highway. 

The travelers were among seven passengers heading to Juba on independence morning yesterday, when the Toyota Noah they were in, came under attack in Orobe village, Lowa Boma.

Pageri county commissioner, Emilio Igga says the attackers sprayed their vehicle with bullets at close range. 

Igga says the injured were rushed to Nimule health facilities for treatment and security has been stepped up in the area.
The incident comes amid increased reports of attempted robberies along the same route.
