Unity State Embraces Peace: VP Taban’s Tour Highlights Stability and Growth ‎

South Sudan President Salva Kiir To Meet SPLM-IO Leader Dr. Riek Machar In Addis Ababa


South Sudan President Office confirmed that President Salva Kiir will meet SPLM-IO leader Dr. Riek Machar next week in order to push the current peace process.  
Ateny Wek Ateny the President's Spokesman said that the two leaders will meet one on one to sort out the critical pending tasks in the peace process.  
The Spokesman also said that the meeting will be facilitated by the IGAD “The initiative came from the mediators so that the transitional government is formed in November.” 
Dr. Riek Machar SPLM-IO Team is yet to comment nor Intergovernmental Authority on Development on this progress by South Sudan government.
