Attorney General Issues Arrest Warrant To Former Western Lakes State Governor

The Attorney General issued an arrest warrant to the former Western Lakes State Governor Kerbino Kuel Deng.

The former Western Lakes State Governor had disappeared and gone into hiding as law enforcement officers are encroaching on him.

The warrant was issued because of the disappearance of money meant for students and teachers and the money was confiscated by the former Governor.

Here is the details of the arrest warrant “to any police R.C.C whereas John Deng Mamer stands charged with the offence under section 346/223/283 of the penal code act, 2008, you are directed to arrest the said person and bring him/her before the crime officer in charge in the police station.”

The State Finance Minister Hon. Mario was also arrested and over 4 million SSP was found in his house and another 8,200 USD.

So the State Finance Minister wanted to prove his innocence by opening a case against the former Western Lakes Governor.

In the middle of June the Judge dismiss the case lacking concrete evidence but opt to hunt and prosecute the former Western Lakes State Governor.

Attempts to reach the former Governor has proven futile by the media society of South Sudan.
