Security Breach at Paloch Airstrip: Two National Security Officers Arrested ‎

Assistant Chief of Defence Forces For Operation and Training.  ‎Tension flared in Upper Nile State on Tuesday after two national security personnel were arrested for attempting to forcibly enter Paloch Airstrip.  ‎ ‎According to the State Governor, the incident triggered a brief exchange of fire, though calm was quickly restored. ‎ ‎This alarming development comes at a time when Paloch and surrounding areas are already grappling with a deteriorating security situation.  ‎ ‎Over the weekend, at least seven people were killed and four others injured during a deadly attack at Paloch market in Melut County. The attackers fled the scene and remain at large. ‎ ‎Authorities have not yet released details about the motive behind the airstrip breach, but investigations are ongoing. Seven (7) High Way Robbers Arrested In Tonj Rumbek Road



The Governor of Tonj State said that the robbers who used to ambush vehicles have been arrested On the road to Rumbek and they are seven in total. 

The governor further added that the criminals are now being questioned to reveal where the others are since some managed to escape. 

Mr. Mathiang who is the governor of Tonj is assuring the safety of the drivers and the passengers since the road is now safe. 

High robbery has been very rampant in South Sudan since the beginning of the civil war in South Sudan.
