Police Officer Shot Dead, Gun Stolen While Guarding KCSE Exam Papers in Turkana ‎

Turkana County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi. ‎A police officer was shot dead in cold blood on Monday morning while guarding Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers in Turkana County.  ‎ The tragic incident occurred at Kang’atotha area, Turkana Central, where officers had been deployed to provide security during the ongoing national examinations. ‎ ‎According to police reports, the slain officer was part of a team assigned to escort and guard examination materials at a local school. Witnesses said the attack happened shortly after dawn when unknown assailants ambushed the officer. South Sudan President Goes To South Africa To Extend The Confinement Of SPLM-IO Chairman Dr. Riek Machar




His Excellency President Salva Kiir is has stepped in South Africa on Friday, but his intentions are still not known but some major sites have speculated that it might be that he wanted to advocate for maintaining in confinement his main political rival and the leader of the Armed opposition Dr. Riek Machar and exclude him from future interim arrangements.

He was accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Defence, Kuol Manyang, the Minister in the Office of the President, Mayiik Ayii Deng, and Minister of Petroleum, Ezekiel Lul.

A major onsite news site said that “The president is visiting South Africa for two main reasons. One he is going to deliver a unified message of the transitional government of National Unity that Riek Machar should continue to remain outside the country during the interim period of the revitalized peace agreement," – Sudan Tribune.
