South Sudan’s Caretaker Minister of Presidential Affairs, Africano Mande Gedima, has held talks with Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Sudan, Delil Kedir Bushra, on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on diplomatic relations and cooperation, with the two officials also exchanging views on the current situation in South Sudan, Ethiopia and the wider region. Ambassador Delil Kedir said the discussions provided an opportunity to share perspectives on regional developments and matters of mutual interest. Kakuma Refugee Camp Schools Have Been Closed By Parents

Kakuma Refugee Camp Schools have been closed down by the parents until further notice after LWF the major Organization providing Education to the refugees in the camp has send a circular to all the schools indicating that Head Teachers and Deputy Head teachers to step down so as to make way for Kenyans to be the Head Teachers and Deputy Head teachers.

The Parents rebukes the letter in strongest term possible some of the parents said that the schools in the camp used to be ran by the Refugee Since the year 1992 and there has never been a bad incident and the refugees head understand the refugee children. That was the general opinion from the parents.



The parents told LWF/UNHCR of what will happen if they continue pushing with their agenda but they never listened so the parents decided to stop their children from going to schools until the voice of the voiceless which is the refugees is heard.

Thirty Five (35) People Confirmed Dead In Kapoeta Flood.

Governor of Kapoeta Stats Hon. Louis Lobong Lojore confirmed to the media that after a heavy rain in Kapoeta on Tuesday 35 people lost their lives.  The same rain hit various parts of South Sudan like Duk in Jonglei whereby people also died.   Hon. Lobong said that "We lost about 35 people during the heavy rains that hit several counties in the state on 10 June, so this is what happened here."  He added that the flood destroyed people homes and even destroy the bridges.  “We are trying to create awareness among our people to control water-borne diseases,” he said. The flood affected the market in Kapoeta since it cleared all the food store in Kapoeta State. He added.  Finally he is calling out to the humanitarian organization to come and rescue his people plus the government too since many people are dire need of help.  More to come shortly....
