Governor Rabi Mujung Dismisses Juba City Mayor, Appoints New Leadership Team ‎

‎Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony Mujung has made sweeping changes in the Juba City Council leadership, dismissing Mayor Johnson Swaka and his two deputies, Thiik Thiik and Juma Moses Michael. ‎ ‎In a gubernatorial decree issued on Friday, Christopher Sarafino Wani Swaka was appointed as the new Mayor of Juba City, taking over from the outgoing Swaka. ‎ ‎The new leadership team includes Jenifer Yabu Lasuba as Deputy Mayor for Administration and Finance, Lual Joseph Deng as Deputy Mayor for Social Services, and Stephen Lomude Martin as Deputy Mayor for Environment and Waste Management. ‎ ‎Governor Mujung said the changes are aimed at enhancing service delivery, strengthening city management, and improving coordination between the state government and the city council. ‎ ‎The reshuffle marks one of the most significant administrative shake-ups in Juba’s recent history, as the new team is expected to tackle persistent challenges such as waste management, urban planni...

Kakuma Refugee Camp Schools Have Been Closed By Parents

Kakuma Refugee Camp Schools have been closed down by the parents until further notice after LWF the major Organization providing Education to the refugees in the camp has send a circular to all the schools indicating that Head Teachers and Deputy Head teachers to step down so as to make way for Kenyans to be the Head Teachers and Deputy Head teachers.

The Parents rebukes the letter in strongest term possible some of the parents said that the schools in the camp used to be ran by the Refugee Since the year 1992 and there has never been a bad incident and the refugees head understand the refugee children. That was the general opinion from the parents.



The parents told LWF/UNHCR of what will happen if they continue pushing with their agenda but they never listened so the parents decided to stop their children from going to schools until the voice of the voiceless which is the refugees is heard.

Four Kenyans serving 72 yrs in Jail.  ‎Juba, South Sudan  South Sudan’s Court of Appeal has set aside the convictions of four Kenyan nationals who had been serving 72-year prison sentences, ordering a retrial on corruption charges.  ‎Also read about:  Civilians Flee Lakama’di as SSPDF Pursues NAS and SPLA-IO Rebel Group in Mundri East ‎ ‎ Background: The Case and Original Verdict ‎The four men are, Anthony Mwadime, Boniface Muriuki, Ravi Ghadhda, and Anthony Keya were employees of Click Technologies in Juba.  ‎ They were arrested in May 2015 and charged with defrauding the South Sudan government.  ‎ ‎In June 2016, the court convicted them for multiple offenses, including forging presidential seals, money laundering, and billing for undelivered equipment.
