President Salva Kiir of South Sudan has dismissed Albino Dak Othow from his position as the Deputy Commissioner General of the South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA). 

Taban Abel Aguek has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner General in his place.

The South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA) is the government body responsible for overseeing tax collection, managing revenue, and ensuring compliance with taxation laws in South Sudan. 

Established to improve financial governance, the SSRA plays a critical role in generating domestic revenue to fund government services and reduce reliance on foreign aid and oil exports. 

South Sudan Revenue Authority 'SSRA' is tasked with modernizing and streamlining tax administration, improving transparency, and boosting revenue generation to support the country's economic development.
