President Salva Kiir Mayardiit has made significant changes to South Sudan's government leadership. Philip Thon Juarwel, appointed as Undersecretary in the Ministry of Roads and Bridges in August, has been removed from his position.

Alongside this decision, President Kiir also dismissed the governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

President Salva Kiir has dismissed Sarah Cleto Rial as the Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal and appointed Emmanuel Wol Okello to take her place.

This decision reflects another change in South Sudan's leadership under Kiir's administration. No official reasons have been released for Cleto's removal, and it's unclear how this shift might affect the political dynamics and governance in Western Bahr el Ghazal.

Emmanuel Okello now steps into the role, bringing his own agenda and vision for the region amid South Sudan's ongoing political challenges.

The reasons for these dismissals have not been disclosed, and further information on the appointments or replacements is awaited.
