Nineteen '19' year old woman committed suicide in Lakes State, Rumbek East County

  The local police of Lakes State confirmed that a 19 year old woman committed suicide in the County of Rumbek East in the village of Meen-Wal and the police withheld the deceased name for unknown reason.  This is not the first time for the young girls to commit suicide in the State, the first case was reported to the authorities  two days ago after a young girl committed suicide in Wulu County.  While speaking to the Media, Police Spokesperson Maj. Elijah Mabor Makwach said that, the police are conducting thorough investigation on why there is a rampant rise of suicide amongst girls in Lakes State.  “We have recorded several cases of suicide with the most recent being a 19-year-old girl who committed a suicide in Meen-wal village in Rumbek East County and the investigation is still ongoing to identify the cause of the suicide because the cases are rising. Hon. Michael Makuei Branded The Other Opposition Groups As 'Parasites'


On Friday South Sudan Minister of Information, Michael Makuei has cautioned the large number of opposition members living in some of the most expensive hotels.

The expensive Hotels in the country to prepare for their own survival in May after the transitional agreement comes into force.

Hon. Makuei who spoke to the press on after their cabinet symposium said, colloquially, that the government will not continue to accommodate those parasites in two months time.

All in all he is urging those opposition groups to come to their homes rather being bankrolled by the government in the expensive hotels in the country.
