The Main Reason Why South Sudan President Abandoned His Tour

A few days ago we saw Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth remove South Sudan First Vice President Taban Deng Gai from the team, this means Tabs Deng Gai and Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth team are at loggerhead.

The situation in Juba now is very volatile forcing South Sudan President Salva Kiir to rush to Juba abandoning his tour to try and salvage the situation between Gen.  Gathoth Gatkuoth and Taban Deng Gai team.

Last weekend South Sudan Vice President Taban Deng Gai had ordered an immediate arrest of Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth along with his other turncoats in Juba. However, the manoeuvre to arrest Gen. Gatkuoth was challenged as unconstitutional, and for that reason, Gen. Gatkuoth vowed to fight back should anyone attempt to arrest him or any member of the new group. The standoff between Taban's bodyguards and Gatkuoth's military personnel eventually ensued, which ultimately, prompted Information Minister, Michael Makuei, to intervene unsuccessfully.

The Gatkuoth's group demanded to backdown only if another third party is involved, in which the Ethiopian PM became the only one willing to make the emergent journey to Juba. Stay tuned.

Stay tune.....
