Security Breach at Paloch Airstrip: Two National Security Officers Arrested ‎

Assistant Chief of Defence Forces For Operation and Training.  ‎Tension flared in Upper Nile State on Tuesday after two national security personnel were arrested for attempting to forcibly enter Paloch Airstrip.  ‎ ‎According to the State Governor, the incident triggered a brief exchange of fire, though calm was quickly restored. ‎ ‎This alarming development comes at a time when Paloch and surrounding areas are already grappling with a deteriorating security situation.  ‎ ‎Over the weekend, at least seven people were killed and four others injured during a deadly attack at Paloch market in Melut County. The attackers fled the scene and remain at large. ‎ ‎Authorities have not yet released details about the motive behind the airstrip breach, but investigations are ongoing. Wau State Assembly Impeached State Minister Of Health Over Missing 500,000 SSP

 
Wau State Health Minister yesterday was impeached by the State Legislative Assembly over missing Health Ministry money and other related issues.  

The State Minister of Health was impeached in absentia after failing to turn up for questioning by the State Assembly for the third time.  

Wau State Health Minister Hon. James Patrick evaded the questioning by the assembly forcing the state legislative to pass a vote of no confidence.  

Wau State Assembly also gave the State Minister of Health seven (7) days to return back all the State properties plus the missing 500,000 SSP donation by President Salva Kiir.  

 Corruption is very rampant in South Sudan and it is becoming a disease that is eating government officials in the government.
