SPLM Reaffirms Commitment to Peace, Unity, and Democratic Transition in Christmas Message ‎

Logistical Issues Affecting The Process Of Cantonment Areas CTSAMVM Reports




CTSAMVM commonly know as the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring and Verification Mechanism Chairperson Reports that logistics is one of the major issue affecting the cantonment area process in South Sudan. 
 
CTSAMVM Chairperson Major General Dedra Agent in his own statement said that “Regarding cantonment, the cantonment areas identified for all armies and verification process are underway, but it is far from complete as there are many logistical challenges. We appreciate the sharing of information by the JDB on this critical task” 
 
After the CTSAMVM Chairperson, Mr.  Yiwodo Otor who happens to be the leader of the SSOA which is also known as South Sudan Opposition alliance said that “Really we have some issues we need to concentrate on, issues of violations, sexual violence and other issues. As stated by the Chairman, cantonment of forces and also we need our MBTs in the areas to go and verify as soon as possible the forces on the ground to locate the cantonments”.
