SPLM Reaffirms Commitment to Peace, Unity, and Democratic Transition in Christmas Message ‎

Abducted Children Rescued From Boma State


Boma State Authorities confirmed today that the seven children abducted by the Murle were rescued.
The  Deputy Governor of Boma State Said that “The two boys were handed over to Jonglei and Kapoeta authorities so that they are united with their parents. And as we speak now, we recovered five of eleven children abducted from Bieh State. They are with the commissioner of Likuangole”
The Deputy Governor insisted that the State is committed to end the rampant child abduction in the State. 
Boma State is notoriously known for Child Abduction cases and cattle raids which had left them at loggerhead with the neighboring communities.
